Water Quality Testing Confirms Safe Standards Across All BEWASCO Networks

BEWASCO conducts annual water quality testing across all distribution points. this is to confirm that water supplied meets WHO safe drinking water standards.

About the quality testing 

Every year, BEWASCO conducts a comprehensive water quality testing across all its distribution networks, storage tanks, and public kiosks.

Testing Methodology

Water samples were collected from 34 different points across the network including:

  • Main storage tanks (3 locations)
  • Public kiosks (12 locations)
  • Residential connection points (15 locations)
  • School and health facility connections (4 locations)

Each sample was tested for bacterial contamination, chemical composition, turbidity, pH levels, and residual chlorine.
